Gordon has a background in multi disciplinary consulting, project management and architecture. He had the opportunity to work in East Timor in 2000. This interest in development work ultimately led to a career in the United Nations Office for Project Services. He was previously the head of the Physical Infrastructure Design Unit in Sri Lanka providing design services to multiple countries, and also served as the Deputy Project Manager in Palestine for a $200m commercial crossing into Gaza, and the Head of Vertical Structures in Afghanistan. He currently works in the global headquarters in Copenhagen with involvement at a technical level in more than 50 countries around the globe.
